How to Harden Glaze Topping
- 1). Pour the glaze in to the mixing bowl.
- 2). Add 1oz. per dry cup of confectioners sugar that was added to the glaze.
- 3). Insert the bottom of the mixer in to the bowl. Turn it to medium speed and whip until the glaze is incorporated with the egg whites. The egg whites cause the glaze to harden.
- 4). Pour the glaze over the cake or dessert as you desire.
- 5). Allow the glaze to rest for one to two hours until it has hardened before serving.
