How to Fix a Round Steak that is Delicious and Tender
- 1). Salt and pepper to taste 3 lbs. of round steak patties, tenderized with a mallet. Pour 1 cup flour into a medium-sized bowl. Add to the flour 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, parsley flakes, onion powder and paprika and stir until well-combined.
- 2). Melt 3 tbsp. butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Pour 1/4 cup vegetable oil into the pan, stirring to combine with the melted butter. Prepare the meat while the oil heats. Dip each patty into the flour, turning and pressing to well-coat the meat.
- 3). Fry the patties for two to three minutes per side, or until the meat is well-browned. Serve while hot as a steak or as sandwiches on white bread.
