How to Make Tapioca Pearls
- 1). Measure seven cups of water for every one cup of tapioca you plan to make. Boil the water on a pot on a stove.
- 2). Add the tapioca pearls to the boiling water and stir the tapioca constantly until the pearls float to the top of the pot.
- 3). Cover the pot and let the pearls cook for 25 minutes. Stir the pearls every 10 minutes to make sure they do not stick together. Keep the stove temperature on high while the pearls are cooking.
- 4). Turn off the stove and set the covered pot on a cool burner for 25 minutes.
- 5). Pour the pot into a strainer after the pearls are done cooling. Run cool water over the pearls to rinse them.
- 6). Put the pearls in a container of sugar syrup to keep them moist until they are used.
