7 Induction Compatible Cookware Lines
If you are considering getting an induction cooktop or a portable induction cooker, it’s important to know that not all pots and pans are induction compatible cookware. For instance, aluminum or copper cookware will not work, since the cookware has to contain ferrous metal (magnetic) in its base.
The cookware lines below are all induction compatible. To find out if your cookware is induction compatible, try to stick a magnet to the underside of your pot or pan; if it is compatible, the magnet will stick. Read more about induction compatible cookware

These cast iron pots are coated with sand-colored enamel inside (making it easier to monitor the food's cooking process), and your choice of beautiful hues on the exterior. The knob handle on the tight-fitting lid is oven-safe, and the large side handles enable the cook to lift the pot safely and comfortably. Buy from Amazon »
Like Le Creuset pots, the classic Lodge cast iron pans (as well as any other cast iron brands) are ideal for using on induction cooktops. They are affordable, will last forever with proper care, and are pre-seasoned at the factory, so they have the chemical-free, easy-release patina for which cast iron is known. The 10 1/4-inch size has pouring spouts and a helper handle. It is also safe to use in the oven or on a campfire, and can do everything from bake cornbread to fry fish to roast a chicken. When using cast iron on an induction cooktop, be sure to lift, rather than slide, the pot or pan, so you don't scratch the glass surface.
