How to Make Crispy Hot Wings
- 1). Place the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl. Pour in the hot sauce and mix to completely coat the wings in sauce. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for two hours.
- 2). Melt the butter in a sauce pan.
- 3). Pour flour into a medium size mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper.
- 4). Beat two eggs and combine with the melted butter. Remove the wings from the fridge. Dip the wings, one at a time, in the egg-and-butter combination, then dip in the flour mixture, coating entirely. Once they are all completely coated, return the wings to the large bowl and place in the fridge for a few minutes.
- 5). Pour oil to an inch deep into a large frying pan. Heat the oil to about 375 degrees F before adding the chicken to the frying pan.
- 6). Cook the wings in the oil until deep-fried, crispy and brown.
