    Weft Style

    • The weft style involves grouping hair in an upwards direction and connecting it at the top position. It has become a stylish weave for fashion-conscious women. A well done weft style takes the shape of a curtain. There are two forms of wefts available. One is made by machine, and the other is hand woven. Machine wefts come in all kinds of colors and sizes. The handmade wefts are more limited and are made to match the woman's natural hair. They generally cost more.

    Individual Strand Style

    • Weave styles could also be done in individual strands. This process is more detail-oriented, and involves applying a selected number of hair strands to the sections of the woman's natural hair. Attachment of the hair strands to the natural hair is achieved with either heat fusion, adhesive or waxing methods. The individual hair strand style may only last for a few months prior to removal.

    Braided Weave Style

    • The braided weave is a fanciful but laborious weave style. The client's natural hair is braided on the level of the scalp in very tiny and horizontal rows, resembling cornfield rows. When this process is completed, the braids would not be noticeable. The chosen hair fashion is then sewn onto the braids, through the use of weaving threads. The number of designed rows decides how much hair is needed. The braided weave style may last for about two months.

    Tree Braid Style

    • The tree braid style is an adorable and stylish weave. It may take about three or four hours to do depending on how much hair is involved. About 20 to 30 hairs are taken and tied and braided together with the woman's hair. The braid is twisted about six to eight times and tied together. It is then left loose and free flowing. If done properly, the hair is bouncing. One of the most well-known public figures to wear the tree braid style is America's First Lady Michelle Obama.

    Bonded Weaves

    • The bonded weave style is very popular. The process involves splitting the hair and grouping the hair into small sections first. The next step is to attach the weave extensions through the use of a bonding glue material. Your hair stylist should use caution so as not to allow too much of the bonding glue to touch the scalp. Some people's skin is sensitive to bonding glue. The attractive bonded weaves last for about one and half months.
