Does Your Penis Turn Red When You Exercise It? Should You Be Concerned or Worried?
When men initially get into the penile exercising one of the first things that comes to their attention is the increased redness of their penises after their work-outs.
It can almost look as if they have sunburned their organ.
Most of us are used to this, but few rarely understand why this is and what it means.
Sure, it's red because it has been rubbed, stretched, and had friction applied to it...
Right? Well, yes and no.
There's much more to it than that and it should be an important concept for men to understand what is actually occurring during the enhancement process.
The main reason your organ appears red is because it has been damaged.
Now, don't get upset or excited about that.
It's a normal physiological process.
No different than your muscle fibers being torn or damaged with other forms of exercising.
Here is what is going on: If I take your forearm and swat it with a fly swatter, what will happen? 1) You will feel immediate pain.
2) The area that was injured will turn redder than the area around it.
3) The area will start to have swelling.
4) If you measure the temperature of this affected area, it will be hotter than the regions around it.
This is a normal physiological protection and healing process.
One initially feels pain, as the body is trying to tell you that it is being injured and to stop doing this.
That's what the pain is for - as a warning sign to stop this action.
The area turns red because the tissue has been injured.
The redness comes from increased blood flow to the area.
The increase in blood flow is for what purpose? This flow increases because your body is trying to heal this area as soon as possible.
The only way it can heal properly is with fresh blood flow to the injured cells.
This extra fluid brings with it the nutrients and oxygen that your tissues need to heal.
The region swells because of this increase in extra blood.
That's why it swells up.
In a joint, let's say an ankle, if you twist your ankle, what happens? The same things with tons of swelling.
When joints are involved the swelling does what? It helps immobilize and stabilize the joint that has been damaged to prevent further injury to it (it's like your body's own plaster cast or bandage).
This is why it is not always such a good idea to prevent swelling of joints after injury with the application of ice.
The swelling is there for a reason.
That reason is because our body's are a lot smarter than we are.
The temperature to the area increases for what reason? You guessed it, because of the extra blood.
This increasing fluid deposition brings with it increased heat.
That's why your male organ gets red when you utilize penis exercises.
What can we learn from this? We can learn that such forms of exercising need to be taken slowly.
They should never be rushed.
If you exercise, you need to give your body plenty of time to adapt to the strain that your tissues have been subjected to.
Your tissues need time to heal.
Remember, the redness you see is only on the surface.
The same process is happening inside of your organ, too.
For best results, give your member plenty of time to heal properly.
Should you be concerned or worried? Not really.
As long as one is conservative, there should be no problems.
However, don't forget Number One from the list above.
That being Pain.
If you start to feel any form of pain, inside or out, stop immediately.
Sincerely, Georg von Neumann
