  Clinton is located along Historic Route 66 (now known as Interstate 40) in western Oklahoma. Clinton's major tourist attraction is the Route 66 Museum, which is the first government-sponsored center in the country honoring the important role that this highway played in American commerce. Long John Silver's

• Founded in 1969, Long John Silver's is the world's most popular quick-service seafood restaurant chain. There are two different locations in the Clinton and Elk City Oklahoma region and over 1,200 locations worldwide. In Clinton, Long John Silver's is conveniently located in the commercial district on West Gary Boulevard, which is easily accessed from Interstate 40. The restaurant is within walking distance for visitors staying at nearby hotels, including the Ramada and Hampton Inn. Menu selections include new health-oriented items with less than 350 calories, such as grilled Pacific salmon or tilapia served with long grain white rice and grilled vegetables. The menu items that Long John Silver's are well-known for include batter fried shrimp, fish and lobster, as well as clams and chicken sandwiches. Side dishes include traditional Southern favorites such as hush puppies, fries and cole slaw. Large families will find the restaurant economically-priced, especially if purchasing family baskets that are available in regular, large and super-sized packages. Simon's Catch

• Simon's Catch is one of the few independently owned seafood restaurants in western Oklahoma. The restaurant is easily reached from Interstate 40 by taking Exit 34 (Merritt Road) then traveling 1.5 miles south and 1.5 miles west. As a family-owned and operated establishment since 1993, Simon specializes in all-you-can-eat catfish and shrimp, the house specialty. For meat eaters, hand-cut choice steaks are also available. Other Southern specialties, including fried green tomatoes and cornbread, are also served. Simon's welcomes large groups, walk-ins and kids. Outdoor seating is available during summer, including a large pavilion rental available for events such as weddings and birthday parties. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. All major credit cards are accepted for payment.
  
  

T-Bone Steakhouse

• Situated to the east of Clinton along Interstate 40, T-Bone Steakhouse is a family-owned restaurant in the small community of Weatherford. Open strictly for dinner between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, T-Bone Steakhouse is a tablecloth style steakhouse that also specializes in fish items such as such as seafood gumbo, fish tacos, fried shrimp, sushi and saki, and grilled scallops. Meat selections include prime rib, filet mignon and pork chops. T-Bone Steakhouse also has large flat screen televisions and welcomes guests to enjoy watching weekly sports games and cocktails in the bar.
