Rosalie Cullen is the beautiful stand-offish older sister of Edward Cullen in the Twilight series. She is a blond beauty known for her keen fashion sense and frank personality.
The Hair:
If you don't already own long, blond hair, then you will need to get a wig. I suggest the 'Dream Girl' style of full, blond wig.
For naturally blond hair, use a large curling iron to create soft spiral curls, add a light layer of hairspray to hold.
Gain body in your hair by hanging your head upside-down and drying it with a hair dryer after showering.
The Skin:
Rosalie has a soft white hue to her skin, with a glittering sheen that all vampires in the Twilight universe experience when exposed to the sun. A powdered glitter will work well, but you may have better luck with a silvery or white eye shadow applied with a large, soft brush.
The Makeup:
For Rosalie, use a dark red lipstick to better offset her strikingly pale skin. Enhance the eyes with a lash-plumping mascara and dark eyeliner at the corners of the eyes. Use a light eyeshadow. Skip the blush!
The Eyes
When the Twilight vampires are hungry, their eyes change to black. For a hungry vampire, I suggest a costume contact that will cover your entire iris in black, like the BlackOut lens by Wild Eyez (see lenses). A full 'vegetarian' vampire (like the Cullen family) has a set of striking amber eyes like FreshLook Colorblends in Honey (see lenses), while human-feeding vampires have bright red eyes like Wild Eyes lenses in Red Hot (see lenses).
The Clothes:
Remember to keep Rosalie's clothing stylish and clean. Most of these can be easily found for cheap at a thrift store. A good look for her is a fitted gray jacket over a black tank top, with light colored jeans and a pair of black heels. Get a Mary Jane style heel if you can. For jewelry, give her a good helping of large silver rings and a ribbon choker or large cameo necklace.
The Fangs:
While not integral to the costume, you can add fangs to your Rosalie if you want to give her a more dangerous feel. I suggest custom fitting fang tooth caps. Just remember that fangs will give you that not-so-sexy vampire lisp.
