- 1). Clean the eye glasses using a lens cleaning solution or warm water and soap. Dry the glasses thoroughly using a clean cloth.
- 2). Apply a dab of non-gel toothpaste to the lens of your eye glasses. Cover the area of the scratch completely by spreading the toothpaste around.
- 3). Buff the glass by rubbing it with a small cloth for about ten seconds. Use circular motions and be sure to completely cover the area that contains the scratch.
- 4). Rinse the glasses under cold water, making sure to remove all of the toothpaste and residue from the glass. Dry the glasses with a soft, clean and dry towel.
