How to Put on Semi-Permanent Eyelashes

    • 1). Apply a light layer of mascara to your lashes. The mascara will help create a foundation for the semi-permanent lashes to rest.

    • 2). Apply a layer of glue to the bottom edge of the false eyelashes. Put a small dot of glue on the tip of the toothpick, and use the toothpick to apply the glue to the lashes.

    • 3). Press the eyelashes to your eyelid with a gentle touch on the center of the eyelid. The lashes should be sitting atop your actual lashes, with the previously applied mascara helping by serving as a sturdier resting shelf for the semi-permanent lashes.

    • 4). Press down on both corners of the lashes at the same time to secure the lashes to your lid. Finish securing the lashes to your lid by gently pressing down along the remainder of the base of the lashes across your entire eyelid.

    • 5). Remove the lashes by pulling on them before the glue dries if you accidentally apply the lashes out of position. As long as you act quickly, before the glue is dry, the lashes should come off easily, allowing you to reposition them. Do not continue to pull indiscriminately if you encounter stiff resistance from the lashes after attempting to remove them, as this is a sign that the glue has begun to dry. Tugging on the lashes after they have dried can lead to damage to your eyelid or real lashes.

    • 6). Apply another coat of mascara, this time to the semi-permanent lashes, to complete the look.
