Well in essence, after a perm you must not get your hair wet for 72 hours and that's so that all the bonds can reform that we have already taken apart and put back again. The water will actually disintegrate some of the bonds that are temporary so your hair will go flat. So you must make sure that you do not wet your hair in the shower, get caught in the rain so that your perm can last.
