5 Tips to Living Longer and Better - Some Tips To Help
Chances are you will live longer than your mother or father, and expected lifespans keep increasing. Life really is
not worth living for most of us if very unhealthy, and certainly is if healthy. Fortunately the same things that help keep us healthy tend to increase our life span too. We do need to take control of our health and work on living longer but fortunately it is easy. Here are five tips, some easier than others, which will help you live longer and healthier!
1) Cut down on food. Most of eat way too much, and research shows that eating in moderation is not only healthy but tends to increase how long you live. I love food, so this one is tough for me, but I try to eat less food yet better food.
2) Don't drink a lot of alcohol, although some is good and may actually be good for you. Once again, medical research says moderation. I'm a confirmed wine drinker, so a glass or two with dinner is no problem. Keeping it to a glass or two can be hard sometimes!
3) Exercise is absolutely essential. It does n;t matter so much how much or how hard you exercise, although more is better within reasonable limits. Even simply walking makes an enormous difference; in fact walking is great exercise! I run and go to the gym, two activities I enjoy. How about you??
4) Stress is unhealthy and can kill you, so try to limit stress. Easier said than done of course, but I have eliminated several stressful things from my life. For example being late stresses me out, so I try hard to be early and avoid that.
5) Having deep interests, perhaps a hobby or purpose in life, is extremely healthy research shows. I fish like a madman; now I know it's good for me! How about you!
