How to Make a Weatherproof Duct Tape Ranger Wallet

  Select the right size bag. The 1-qt. size works well for small personal items, identification and credit cards, pictures and money. The 1-gallon size is perfect for larger items such as passports, maps and reading materials.

  Duct tape
  
  Measure and cut strips of tape 2 inches longer than twice the length of the top of your bag. Cut enough strips to overlap each by ¼ inch and cover from the top of the bag to the bottom.

  Wallet
  
  Place the top of the first strip of tape along the bottom of the bag's opening seam and against the left side.

  Army Ranger
  
  Tape across the front of the bag; flip and tape across the back, keeping the tape along the bottom of the opening seem. Flip bag to front and allow ends of tape to overlap.

  Continue wrapping the bag with the tape, allowing each strip to overlap the previous by ¼ inch. Overlaps ensure more secure waterproofing.
