Loose Updo

• A loose updo is a simple, yet beautiful hairstyle for a woman attending a military ball who has shoulder-length hair. This updo is pulled to the back of the head, near the top of the neck, with some tendrils allowed to flow loosely from the updo. Hair is often styled into soft curls before the updo is complete, in order to accentuate the flowing, subtle look of the hairstyle. This is an versatile updo for a military ball, as it would work with either a short or long ball gown.
