Face

• One of the ways to pull off a punk look is to create the image of a pale face. Using a light, loose powder, generously apply a layer over your whole face. For more coverage, use liquid foundation and then apply the powder. Do not apply any dark blushes or bronzers, as you want your face to have more of a matte finish instead of a glossy one. If you do want to add some color, remember less is more.
  
  

Eyes

• To accomplish punk-worthy eyes that will grab everyone's attention, start by applying a neutral shadow onto your eyelids. Add a dark shadow to the base of your lid. Black is a popular choice, but you could also use a dark purple or navy shadow. Next, apply dark eyeliner to surround your entire eye. Create a thick line right above your upper lashes that extends to both corners to help create this smokey look. Finish the look with multiple layers of dark mascara.
  
  

Lips

• A punk lip is simple to apply. For lips, there are really two options you will want to experiment with to see which you prefer. Try either a light, nude lipstick or a deep red one. Either color should have a matte finish as opposed to a glossy one.
  
  

Dramatic Effects

• To enhance your punk look for a special occasion, add rhinestones to the corners of your eyes. Long, false eyelashes will add some extra drama to your appearance as well. If you want to try something other than dark shadows, experiment with some bright colors like neon yellow or pink. Apply the shadow in generous sweeps to keep the eye-catching look.
